Screen Me Camp Sun Safety Sing-A-Long with the Fuddles

We know it can be challenging to get kids to be sun safe during these summer months, so why not show them how to practice sun safety with our new Sun Safety Sing-A-Long Video! The Melanoma Network of Canada has worked with several partners to develop a jingle and video to educate children and youth on being sun aware and sun safe in a fun and engaging way through our Screen Me™ Sun Aware™ Camp Program. With skin cancer the number one cancer worldwide, we really believe that using this tool to educate youth will help reduce rates in the future.  So “Grab your sunscreen and follow along!” visit www.screenme.ca

Despicable Me Sun Safety Campaign

Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has partnered with Melanoma Foundation ambassador and Olympic Gold Medallist, Stephanie Rice, to star alongside the Minions from Despicable Me 2 in a new, national sun safety campaign. Stephanie Rice has enlisted the help of the Minions to provide some easy-to-understand tips that kids can follow to ensure they’re protected from harmful UV rays when outdoors this summer. While most sun safety campaigns out there put the onus on parents, Stephanie has teamed up with the adorable Minions to speak directly to kids, using characters to help deliver this important message in a way that kids will find fun and memorable.

Boyd makes the case to slap on some physical or chemical SPF daily.
