Fun Sunny Day Activities for Kids!

Whether you’re a parent, camp counsellor, babysitter or anything in between, we’ve got great ideas for outdoor fun! These are our Top 3 Sun Safe Activities!

sunscreen1) Sunscreen Dance Party

Grab your dad’s boom box from the 80s and some SPF-30 for this fun activity! Gather ’round in the shade and play music while the kids show off their best dance moves. When the music stops, give them sunscreen to apply to a part of their body (i.e. ears). This dance party continues until they have applied sunscreen to all exposed skin. Now they are ready for outdoor adventures in the sun! For a kid friendly playlist that’ll have everyone taping their toes, click here.

white hat2) Hat Decorating

Buy a plain white bucket hat, as well as glitter, fabric paint, stickers, and any other decorations you desire. Have the kids personalize their own hat with the decorations and let dry. Kids will proudly want to wear their own hat and you can feel safe knowing they’re protected from the harmful rays, (with the help of sunscreen).
